2026 Nutcracker Auditions

○ Dancers 5-7 years old with at least 1 year ballet training - 12:30-1:00 pm
○ Dancers 8-10 years old with at least 2 years ballet training - 1:15-2:00 pm
○ Dancers 11-12 years old with at least 2 years ballet training - 2:15-3:15 pm
○ Dancers 13+ years old with at least 4 years ballet training - 3:45-5:45 pm

○ Dancers 13+ years old with at least 3 years pointe training - 12:30-2:00 pm
○ Senior Company proficient on pointe - 2:30-4:00 pm

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your audition time.

You are required to register for auditions on-line by filling out the audition form PRIOR TO your audition time. This form is available on our website.

Party Parents, please complete the on-line registration form!

Proof of enrollment in a ballet class is required for participation. You may print out the form here and bring the completed copy with you to auditions. This form is due no later than the first scheduled rehearsal.
Attire:

Females: black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, hair pulled back in a bun

Males: black shorts/pants, white shirt, ballet shoes

Dancer and Family Expectations

Please accept the role ONLY as a serious commitment.

Dancer fee of $125, and each addition dancer per family is $110. Must be paid at the Parent/Cast Meetings.

To achieve a professional and uniform look, dancers cast as Presents, Parrots, Angels & Mice will be required to purchase tights from CDT ($14 child sizes, $18 adult sizes). This will be collected at the Parent Meetings and tights will be distributed prior to the dress rehearsals.

Dancers must currently be enrolled and attending ballet class(es) throughout the whole process.

Fees and Proof of Ballet Class must be received by the dancer’s first rehearsal, or dancers may be dismissed from the production.

In the event of 3 missed practices, dancers may be dismissed from the production.

Please be prepared for each rehearsal - i.e. hair in bun, appropriate shoes, leotard, tights and a good attitude!

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before rehearsal (but NO earlier) to warm-up, remember steps, and keep rehearsals running on schedule.

Please pick up your child promptly at the conclusion of each rehearsal.

One parent, or family representative must sign up to assist with the production. (2 time slots per dancer)
